Appointed by the Commandant, STARFLEET Marine Corps, the Superintendent, Marine Training Center is responsible for establishing the fictional universe for the Corps. The Superintendent does this by supervising the creation and development of equipment, Corps organization, and infrastructure, along with strategies and tactics to complete the doctrinal picture of the SFMC universe. Training is then developed as courses that may be taken by the membership through the STARFLEET Marine Training Center at STARFLEET Academy.
Marine Training Center Mission Statement
The Marine Training Center is a single department that encompasses two basic missions: development and dissemination of the in-character basis of the Corps, and training of Corps leaders in the techniques needed to adequately administer and manage an organization that has members from all parts of the world.
The real-world purpose of the Marine Training Center is to provide an entertaining method to disseminate the fictional information we develop. The MTC provides an inexpensive and effective way to experience the fiction that we design without the problems and costs associated with physical reenactment. The MTC is part of STARFLEET Academy and can be found via the Academy Moodle.
