State of INFOCOM January 2020

Greetings Marines,

At the time of this report the deadline for the DCOINFOCOM is almost here. If you were interested in the position, I hope you submitted your information. If you have any questions about the position, please let me know.

I thought I have the reporting issues fixed, which I think I did until some update out of nowhere broke most of the links on the SMFC website and the report forms got hosed. I got the links working but the unit report was coming through as a Battalion report. I then found I couldn’t make and save any changes to any of the report forms. I rebuild the Unit Report form and thanks to LGEN Ed Tunis from the 3rd Brigade assistance with testing I have that form working gain. The Brigade and Battalion are working but again I can’t save any changes to these forms. That means I have to rebuild them as well. I’ll get to those as soon as I can. The awards request forms seem to be unaffected by the update.

The new QM site of the SMFC site is almost ready to start taking orders. Notice I said almost. Please continue to use the old site at https://qm.sfi-sfmc.org. I have disabled the menu items but I had to enable some of the functions to do some configuration and testing and wouldn’t you know if someone found their way in to place an order. There is a message that states the site isn’t ready to take orders yet. I hope to have it ready very soon.
