State of SFMC Training and Doctrined command (SFMC TRACOM) – May 2022
State of SFMC Training and Doctrined command (SFMC TRACOM) – May 2022
Greeting Marines,
I hope everyone had a good time over easter with family and friends. I wish everyone the best of health and wishes for the upcoming month.
I would like to also post af ew notes for this Month’s SFMC TRACOM Report. I am not downplaying or over stating Mike’s comments. I do feel that there may be some confusion or issues with a couple of things. I hope to clear them up, when I can. I was made aware that some marines are unable to find the form for MOSC. It should be on the moodle website and in its own location for MOSC. If there is an issue please let me know directly via facebook or email. I have the form also if it is needed to be sent to anyone. With that being said, if anyone would like to request MOSC Certification then can submit it to the site. if issues. they can send it directly to myself to get that too you right away. Additionally, I have made progress with getting past grades entered in to the database. I am also working on any additional ribbons that need to be added to a record. If you have any that you would like followed up on. Please let me know. I can also check for any that feel are awards or needed to be.
Thanks for your time and diligence in SFMC TRACOM/ SFMCA
reach out to any of the leadership so we can follow up or adjudicate issues where needed.

Good morning, Marines!
Here is an update on the SFMC Academy
All Branch Courses (yes, all!) – Aerospace (AE), Armor (AR), Combat Engineering (CE), Infantry (IN), Leadership (LD), MECHA (ME), Medicine (MD), Maritime Operations (MO), Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO), Officer Development (OD), Professional Development (PD), Special Operations (SO), and Support (SU) – are finally completely converted to QAM and online. The last 8 months have been busy and this wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Ed Wandall, Michael Timko, Lawrence Mathews, Bruce O’Brien, Jari James, William ‘Junior’ Hof, Jill Jameson Rayburn, S Christopher Boggs, Shane Russell, and TJ Allen. Special thanks to Jayden Tyronian for doing all the work in the background in Moodle The next College to be reworked (and reopened) will be the Command Staff College. This College will consist of the following schools – Unit Officers College (UOC), Combined Arms (CA), and Military History (MH). A proposal has been sent to TRACOM for UOC and I hope to see that school opening soon.
Manuals – Most of the Branch manuals have been updated in the last 12 months and added to their required courses in Moodle. The AE, AR, CE, IN, MD, ME, MO, and SU manuals have had their respective MOS information added to their manuals. This reduces the number of manuals needed to take exams. The general manuals are in the process of being updated. The History, Enlisted, and TRACOM manuals have been completed, Staff Officers and Officers manuals are coming up next.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. There’s a lot going on and we’re working hard to improve your SFMCA experience.
