State of INFOCOM November 2017

Greetings Marines,

The new email solutions is in place and I have completed my testing.  The solution to try and route the email through Gmail and avoid the Dream host email servers seems to be working so far.  I’m trying to keep an eye on the reports and I’ll address any issues as they pop up as fast as I can.  If this continues to work as designed, it will be the permanent solution going forward for awards and report delivery.  One other issue I’m working is attachments not being sent when submitting awards.  Because I was focused on getting the report forms ready and the holidays, I have had time to really work on this issue.  That is the next item I’ll be looking into.
Depending on the final results of this reporting period, I will be deploying the new SFMCA website sometime in December or January.  My plan is to deploy the site when COTRACOM shuts down the academy during the holidays.
