State of TRACOM – April 2019
Good day Marines! I wish everyone a safe and fun Easter Holiday. There have been some changes in SFMC TRACOM over the last month. I have been working diligently to look at many of the policies within TRACOM and asked for feedback on what everyone would like to see and also to work on our Internal Techniques, tactics, and procedures. I would like to thank everyone that reached out to me with feedback.
Currently I am looking at filling a few positions. The Departments that I would like to fill are; Xeno-Vulcan, MURP/MOSC. I am additionally looking at some of the other colleges, but these are currently ones that I hope to fill soon. Applicants must be a member of SFMC (either Active/Reserve) complete PD-10. Additionally a working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, or Open office. Additionally, this candidate must have access to return responses to courses and requests on a regular basis. The applicant will be required to send monthly course reports to COTRACOM. Applicants must send their resumes and complete questionnaire per SFI HR guidelines (HR@sfi.org). Its job opening will be open until 5/15/19.
I would like to welcome Bill West to the TRACOM staff, he will be working as our Research and development. He is on board and is working on various projects within TRACOM. , James Reed will be stepping up and taking over the Combined Arms Branch. I welcome them and look forward to working with them within our Cadre staff. Welcome Aboard.
MECHA copyrighted material issue is still being worked on. Our MECHA Director is Still working with TOPS,INC to see about approval for us to use the MECHA Material that we are currently using. When I know more information, I will be the first to let everyone know.
Additionally, Marines! SFMC TRACOM would like your help with anyone wanting to develop, or assist our RND Staff. We are currently seeing anyone with creative ideas to use in any of the SFMC TRACOM Manuals, and also course Ideas. Anyone wishing to assist us. Please reach out to myself or the TRACOM Staff.
